Sneak peek test contamination12/30/2023 If it detects the y chromosome then it means boy. If it doesn't detect a y chromosome, then you're told you're having a girl and that's pretty reliable, definitive results. I understand that the test looks for a y chromosome in the fetal DNA of the mother's blood. The published results say they are 99.1% accurate. However, the studies weren't independently conducted which is truly gold standard. I am interested in SneakPeek because it's 'clinically proven' and published in several peer-reviewed scientific journals. I didn't do NIPT because I'm not high risk and therefore would have been a lot of money out of pocket. I'm 14+4 weeks pregnant and starting to consider doing a commercially available at-home gender revealing blood test. Has anyone used SneakPeek? And if so, what was your experience and did it give you accurate results? r/BlackParents- A safe space for black parents and parents of black children r/AmIPregnant- This is where you ask if you or someone you know might be pregnant.
